These fine coffee beans are grown by smallholder farmers in the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia. Arabica coffee was originated in Ethiopia and thus the Yirgacheffe region is home to some of the best heirloom cultivars. The Ethiopian Yirgacheffe has a heavy body and tasting notes consisting of black tea, Jasmine, lemongrass and fragrant hints of floral. The beans are sun-dried on a raised bed at an altitude of 1700–2100 M.
